B.R.I.D.G.E has made plans to return to Ecuador, where we
hope to establish a long-lasting foothold in the region where our organization
began. Teaming with efforts to renovate el Teatro Bolivar, one of Ecuador’s
historic playhouses, B.R.I.D.G.E aims to produce the plays written by youth
participants in the 2400-seat theatre, located in the heart of Ecuador’s
capital, Quito.
In addition to securing long-term relationships with
countries we have already visited, B.R.I.D.G.E is currently discussing the
potential for programming in France, Norway, Germany and Greece. We also hope to
travel to South Africa and the Middle East, as it is our goal to enhance
B.R.I.D.G.E’s peacemaking efforts through theatre and the arts within these
regions in the future. |
